On Wednesdays at 6:30 in the sanctuary at First Assembly Community Ministries, we are at the start of a study on the book of Acts. My Life Group is called "The Source". We meet each Wednesday to sing a few songs together, spend some time praying together and then we dive into the New Testament in a verse-by-verse format.
The class is open to discussion, and this new foray into the book of Acts is proving to be rich. I would guess that if you were to ask someone from the class their thoughts, they would tell you they've found it inspiring and illuminating. It's not a sermon or a one-sided lecture, but it is an explanation and discussion of the New Testament.
If you're looking to grow in your faith or learn more about the New Testament on a level we can't exactly visit on Sunday morning or you're hoping to connect with others from our church, this would be a great place to start. We finish no later than 8PM.
